Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Fantasy Label website and the Fantasy Label iOS app. Where something applies to only one of them, it says so.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and any profile information you choose to provide — display name, bio, avatar, banner and social handles.
Authentication Data:If you sign in with Apple, Google or Discord, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider. We never receive or store your password for those accounts. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only ever see Apple's relay address.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with Fantasy Label, such as leagues joined, draft picks, roster changes and game activity.
Messages: Direct messages and league chat messages you send are stored so they can be delivered and shown in the conversation.
Device Token (app only): If you turn on push notifications, we store a device token so we can send them. It identifies the installation, not you personally, and it is deleted when you sign out or turn notifications off.
Microphone (app only): Draft-room voice chat uses your microphone, and only while you are actively connected to a draft room. Audio is streamed live to the other players in that room. We do not record, store or transcribe it, and nothing is retained after the call ends. The app asks for microphone permission the first time you join voice, and voice chat is entirely optional — the draft works without it.
We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and the app contains no crash-reporting or tracking software.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve Fantasy Label
- To create and manage your account
- To enable gameplay features such as leagues, drafts, rosters and swaps
- To deliver messages and league chat between players
- To send you notifications related to your game activity, which you can turn off per type
- To investigate reports of abusive behaviour and enforce our Terms
- To communicate updates or changes to our service
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following cases:
- Public Profile: Your username, avatar, badges and game statistics are visible to other players. Labels in private leagues are only visible to members of those leagues.
- Service Providers: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Expo (push notification delivery for the app) and LiveKit (real-time audio routing for draft voice chat). These process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our players.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security policies, so a request can only read the rows that account is entitled to. We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication tokens. On the iOS app your session is held in the device Keychain. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
5. Cookies
The website uses essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The iOS app does not use cookies.
6. Blocking and Reporting
You can block any player, from their profile or by holding one of their messages. Blocking hides you and that player from each other in direct messages and league chat, and removes any friendship between you. You can also report a player or a specific message. When you report a message we store a copy of it alongside the report, so it can still be reviewed if the message is later deleted. Reports are visible only to our moderation team.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data, or edit it yourself in your profile
- Delete your account, from Settings in the app or on the web
- Opt out of any notification type, and turn push notifications off entirely

8. Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. When you delete your account:
- Your login is destroyed along with every credential, linked provider and active session. You will not be able to sign in again.
- Your personal details are erased: name, bio, avatar, banner, social handles, direct messages, league chat messages, friendships, blocks, reports you filed, notifications, badges and any push device tokens.
- Your past league participation is kept in anonymous form.Your username is replaced with an anonymous placeholder and your roster history remains attached to it. We do this because deleting it would silently change the recorded standings, scores and results of every league you played in — altering other players' records, not just your own. The anonymous placeholder contains no information that identifies you.
If you own a league that is still in progress, you will be asked to finish or delete it first, so the other members are not left without an owner.
9. Children's Privacy
Fantasy Label is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on Fantasy Label. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
